Description
SILVIO BECUCCI
He was born in Tuscany and, in 1901 at the Teatro Regio in Turin, took part in one of the contemporary premieres of the new opera Le Maschere. In the later part of his career, he performed as a comprimario and buffo.

ALBINO MARONE (TORINO, 1891 – ALFANO NATTA/ALESSANDRIA, 1962)
He was trained as a chorister in Turin and later studied with Pia Rocca and Maestro Boglione as a soloist. He made his debut in 1919 at the Teatro Torinese in Turin. In the 1929–1930 season he sang with great success at La Scala under Arturo Toscanini.
In 1931 he appeared as a guest at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, performing Oroveso in Norma (with Gina Cigna in the title role), Pimen in Boris Godunov, and King Marke in Tristan und Isolde. He also made guest appearances in Egypt, Melbourne, and Barcelona.
In the second half of his career, he appeared frequently on the Italian broadcasting company EIAR in Rome and Turin. The Second World War forced him to remain in Italy, where he eventually retired from the stage, giving his final performance at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa.
