ARTURO FRANCESCHINI (MONTECCHIO, 1869 – ? 1929)
He studied singing at the Parma Conservatory under the pedagogue and composer Auteri Manzocchi. He made his debut in 1893 at the Teatro Sociale in Broni in La forza del destino. In 1904, he performed at the Teatro Lirico in Milan in the world premiere of the opera David by A. Galli. He retired from the stage in 1911 after several performances at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.

ARISTIDE MOLTENI
In 1902, he appeared in concert in Pesaro, and he likely made his debut the following year. He retired from the stage in the 1920s. His recordings were exclusively made for the Favorite label.

ALFREDO CANTARELLI
He began his career in 1891 as a baritone at the Teatro Bellini in Palermo, performing the role of Robinson in Il matrimonio segreto. At the beginning of the 20th century, he transitioned to tenor and made his second debut in 1901 at the Politeama Sampierdarenese in Sampierdarena, singing the role of Fernando in La favorita.

LUIGI MARLETTA (ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT, 1895 – ITALY ?)
He was first a pupil of Maestro Vallaro in Casale Monferrato, and later studied singing at the Conservatorio di Milano under Vincenzo Pintorno. In 1923, he made his debut as Manrico in Il trovatore at the Teatro Carcano in Milan. For many years thereafter, he appeared at Italy’s leading opera houses, including the Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, and Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
He achieved great success in guest performances across South America, particularly in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. He also appeared at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels, the Royal Opera House in Malta, and took part in tours of the traveling Carro di Tespi Lirico throughout Italy. Conductors such as Arturo Toscanini and Tullio Serafin held his interpretations in high esteem.
His repertoire included Radamès in Aida, Manrico in Il trovatore, Don Alvaro in La forza del destino, Arnold in Rossini’s Guillaume Tell, and Vasco da Gama in Meyerbeer’s L’Africaine.
In 1927, he married the contralto Camilla Rota (1899–1977). He made a few recordings for Columbia.
