Description
BRUNO BĚLČÍK (KARVINA, JANUARY 14, 1924 – PRAGUE, MARCH 10, 1990)
He was concertmaster of the Prague Symphony Orchestra from 1946 to 1960, then of the Czech Philharmonic. As a chamber musician he was a.o. Member of Prazske Trio with František Rauch and František Smetana. As a soloist he has made a name for himself with performances and recordings of works by Czech composers such as Antonín Dvořák, Josef Suk, Josef Bohuslav Foerster and Bohuslav Martinů.
