ÉMILE AIMABLE PARFAIT COLONNE (TOULON, 18 APRIL, 1885 – BRUSSELS, 13 MAY, 1970)

 

 

 

 

He studied singing at the Toulon Conservatory and sang for many years at La Monnaie in Brussels. He appeared in the Brussels premieres of A. Honegger’s Antigone (1927) and S. Prokofiev’s The Gambler (1929). His repertoire included Germont, Escamillo, and Athanaël in Thaïs. He retired from the stage in 1952.
