ANDRÉE MARILLIET (PARIS, FRANCE, 12/11/1893 – PARIS, FRANCE, 09/05/1989)

 

 

 

 

She made her debut at the Opéra-Comique in La Légende de Saint-Christophe by Vincent d’Indy (1922). Around the same time, she likely also appeared at the Grand Opéra, where she sang until 1937. Here, she participated in several opera premieres: on April 21, 1931, in Guercoeur by A. Magnard; on March 21, 1935, in Le Marchand de Venise by R. Hahn; and on March 10, 1936, in Oedipe by G. Enescu. She also made guest appearances at French provincial opera stages.
