She received her education at the Paris Conservatoire under Duvernoy, Melchissédec, and Mangin. In 1904, she made her debut at the Grand Opéra in Paris as Helmwige in Die Walküre, and later sang the role of Ines in Donizetti’s La Favorite. During the early years of her career, she took on various roles at the opera house, where she remained a member until 1927. These roles included Jemmy in Rossini’s William Tell, Urbain in Meyerbeer’s Les Huguenots, Crobyle in Thaïs, and Eunoë in Massenet’s Ariane. She participated in several premieres, such as Massenet’s Ariane on October 31, 1906, Le Borne’s La Catalane on May 24, 1907, Massenet’s Bacchus on May 2, 1909, André Gailhard’s La Fille de Soleil in 1910, Alfred Bachelet’s Scemo in 1914, and Gabriel Dupont’s Antar on March 14, 1921. She also performed in the 1908 premiere of Rameau’s Hippolyte et Aricie and in the Paris premieres of Wagner’s Götterdämmerung (1908) and Das Rheingold (1909).

In 1907, she married the composer Georges Brun and performed under the name Antoinette Laute-Brun. That same year, she toured Belgium with the baritone Jean Noté. She also enjoyed a successful career in the French provinces, where she frequently guested. She achieved significant success as an oratorio soloist, particularly in Berlioz’s La Damnation de Faust and Haydn’s The Creation.
