Description

BERTHE AUGUEZ DE MONTALANT (BALTIMORE, 1865 – NICE, 1937)

First, she studied singing under Armand Chevé, then at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux, where she won several prizes. In 1899, she made her debut at the Opéra-Comique in Paris as Léonore in Fidelio.
