He came from the South of France. He made his debut in 1901 (?) at the Teatro Sociale in Monza as Vasco da Gama in Meyerbeer’s L’Africaine. Later that same year, he achieved significant success in Modena, performing as Raoul in Les Huguenots and as Arnoldo in Rossini’s Guillaume Tell, both of which became his signature roles. In 1901, he also appeared at the Royal Opera in Budapest, followed by engagements at the opera houses in Venice, Genoa, and Turin.

Other notable appearances include Bucharest in 1904, the Teatro Real in Madrid and Odessa in 1905, and a sensational performance at the Opera House in Warsaw in Guillaume Tell, alongside Mattia Battistini. In 1907, he performed at the Teatro Politeama in Buenos Aires. He appeared at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice in 1910 and at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples in 1911.
