Description
PAUL DANGELY
In the 1907–1908 season, he was engaged by the Théâtre des Arts in Rouen, where he appeared in La Juive, L’Africaine, La favorite, Samson et Dalila, and as Hélion in Isidore de Lara’s Messaline. From Rouen, he joined the Théâtre Royal Français in The Hague, where he sang successfully as Samson, Eléazar, and Faust. He also made guest appearances in Nantes, Algiers, Marseille, and Toulon. During the 1913–1914 season, he was a member of the Gaîté-Lyrique in Paris, performing there until 1917. He likely retired from the stage in the early 1920s.
