ALFRED FÄRBACH (STUTTGART, 5 DECEMBER, 1878 – MANNHEIM, 24 APRIL, 1939)

 

 

 

 

Education: His education took place primarily in Berlin.

Debut: He made his debut in the 1908-09 season at the Court Theatre of Sangerhausen (Thuringia).

Career:

• 1909-10 Season: Performed at the Municipal Theatre of Elberfeld.
• 1910-12 Seasons: Sang at the Municipal Theatre of Stettin.
• 1912-14 Seasons: Appeared at the Municipal Theatre of Halle (Saale).
• 1914-15 Season: Worked at the Opera House of Wroclaw.
• 1915-18 Seasons: Joined the Municipal Theatre of Strasbourg.
• 1919-20 Season: Performed at the Municipal Theatre of Freiburg im Breisgau.
• 1920-26 Seasons: Achieved career highlights at the National Theatre of Mannheim.

Later Career:

• Post-1926: Worked as a pedagogue in Mannheim and was also active as a concert singer.
