VALENTIN HALLER (MUNICH, 1 MAY, 1901 –MUNICH, 24 MARCH, 1944)

 

 

 

 

He began his career in 1924 in Gera. In Berlin, he created a sensation with his performance as Manrico in Il Trovatore. Tragically, he died at the age of 43 due to a spinal injury. His brother, who performed under the name Hans Florian (1894-1979), also had a successful career as an opera singer.
