Description

RODOLFO ANGELINI-FORNARI (ROME, 1866 – ?)

He made his debut at the Teatro Delle Muse in Ancona, performing the role of Valentin in Faust by Charles Gounod. His early success led to an appearance at the prestigious Teatro La Fenice in Venice in 1897, where he took part in the world premiere of Ruggero Leoncavallo’s opera La Bohème.

His career later expanded internationally, and around 1912, he moved to the United States, where he continued to perform and establish his reputation. After a long and fruitful career, he retired from the stage in 1919, closing a chapter of nearly two decades of contributions to opera both in Europe and abroad.
