GINO GIOVANELLI GOTTI (SIENA, 1878 – ? 1965)
Of noble origins, he studied in Florence at the prestigious Collegio Querce. He later began vocal studies as a baritone with Silvio Tanzi and debuted in 1904 at the Teatro Petrarca in Arezzo in Fedora. After serving briefly in World War I, he retired from his singing career and settled in Siena, where he opened a new business. In 1930, he organized an opera season, bringing in some of the finest artists of the time. In 1935, he performed again in Siena in a notable operatic concert.
