Description

RAOUL ROMITO (LIVORNO, 23 OCTOBER, 1882 – GLOUCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, 19 AUGUST 1952)

He was reportedly discovered while working as a fisherman in Italy. He made his debut with the Boston Opera in 1912 as Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana, but he gained greater recognition as a singer and recorder of folk and popular music.
