GIOVANNI APOSTOLU (IOANNIS APOSTOLOU) (MENIDIS, ATHENS, 1860 – NAPLES, ITALY, 28 AUGUST, 1905)
He studied singing at the Conservatory in Athens and made his debut in 1888 as Yorghis in the opera The Parliamentary Candidate by Xyndas.

GIOVANNI COCKINIS (IOANNIS COKINIS)
Probably he made his debut in Greece. He soon moved to Italy, where in 1893 he performed the role of Enzo in I Promessi sposi by E. Petrella at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan. The following year, he made successful guest appearances at various venues, including Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Teatro Sociale in Bassano del Grappa, Teatro Sociale in Brisighella, Teatro Riccardi in Bergamo, Teatro Sociale in Busseto, and Politeama in Piacenza. In 1896, he performed in Odessa, Moscow, and Helsinki. By 1900, he appeared at the National Old Theatre in Krakow, and he returned to perform at the Sporting Club in Smyrna in 1902 and again in 1908.
