ALBERT JANPOLSKI (KIEV, UKRAINE, 1878 – ORANGETOWN, USA ?)
He was born in Kiev, Ukraine. In 1900, he appeared in concert at Queen’s Hall in London together with Louise Kirkby-Lunn. Later he settled in the United States. In 1907, he gave recitals in Los Angeles and at Mendelssohn Hall in Washington. In 1908, he appeared in concert with the Washington Choral Club, and in 1909 before the Treble Clef Club in Birmingham. In 1910, he gave a recital at MacDowell Hall in Washington and also appeared in concert with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. In 1912, during the fourth Annual Spring Tour, he participated in concerts of the Russian Symphony Orchestra. In 1917, at the Hotel Plaza in New York, he performed in the Concert and Exhibition of Mrs. Charles Andrews Carver, together with Leone Zinovieff, Naardyn Lyska, Bogumil Syroka, and Margaret Frohman. In the United States, he made records for Victor and Columbia.
