BIRGER SCHÜCKER (SWEDEN, 1870 – SWEDEN, 1933)

He gained popularity as the audience’s favorite tenor after his appearance in Tiggarstudenten at Vasateatern in Stockholm during the 1907–1908 season. He performed the role of Rodion in Kosackerna at the Opera House in Kristiania (now Oslo), where he held a long-term engagement as an opera singer. One of his standout roles there was Faust. Between the 1907 and 1911 seasons, he also performed at Stora Teatern in Göteborg, further solidifying his reputation as a talented tenor.
