SAMUEL HYBBINETTE (STOCKHOLM, 31. 1. 1876 – STOCKHOLM, 12. 2. 1939)
He studied medicine at Stockholm University and became one of the most prominent Swedish surgeons of his time. Alongside his medical career, he pursued a second career as a concert singer. He studied singing with Gillis Bratt in Stockholm and, in 1900, won a singing competition in Uppsala. He subsequently gave several concerts in Stockholm. In 1916, he undertook a concert tour of Scandinavia. In 1919, he took part in a concert in Denmark. In 1921, he also made a stage appearance in Stockholm.
