CORRADO ZAMBELLI (BOLOGNA, 1897 – ? 1974)
He studied at the Liceo Musicale of Bologna under Alessandro Vezzani and made his debut in 1922 at the Teatro Sociale of Bondeno in Rigoletto. From 1920 to 1931 he appeared at La Scala and also performed at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and other Italian stages. At the Teatro San Carlo in 1929 he took part in the premiere of Franco Lattuada’s Don Giovanni. In the 1934–35 season, he sang in Holland with an Italian opera troupe. In 1938 he appeared at Covent Garden, London, as Sparafucile in Rigoletto, and at the Arena di Verona in Puccini’s Boheme. Zambelli retired from the stage in 1949.

ENRICO BANCO (NAPOLI ? – MILANO, 1912)
He always performed on minor stages. In 1893 he was engaged for a long tour in Mexico. He died after a brief illness, leaving his family in serious financial difficulties.

ENZO BOZANO (GENOA, 1884 – ?)
Enzo Bozano was an Italian bass active internationally in the early 20th century. His career began in 1905 with performances at the Teatro Sociale in Soresina as Ramfis (Aida) and Padre Guardiano (La forza del destino). In 1906, he appeared across southern Italy, singing Sparafucile (Rigoletto) and King Henry (Lohengrin) in Bari, Brindisi, and Lecce. That same year, he traveled to Mexico City, where he portrayed Saint-Bris in Les Huguenots.
Bozano established a significant presence in North America, appearing in Philadelphia (1907) and New York (1908) in roles such as Ramfis, Lodovico (Otello), and Sparafucile. In 1909 he sang Colline in La bohème in Baltimore. His engagements continued in Italy and abroad, including Modena (1914), Havana and San Juan (1917), and Montreal (1918), where he performed Mefistofele in Faust.
In the 1920s, Bozano was active in Italy, Egypt, and France. Notable appearances included the Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo, where in 1925 he sang Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Padre Guardiano, Alvise (La Gioconda), and Sparafucile. That same season, he performed in Cairo and Alexandria, taking on roles in La bohème, Tosca, and Gianni Schicchi. His last documented appearance was in 1927 at the Palais Méditerranée in Nice as the blind man (Cieco) in Mascagni’s Iris.
Bozano’s repertoire showcased his versatility in Italian and French opera, particularly in basso profundo and character parts.
FRANCO ZACCARINI (MILANO, 1890 – ? 1942)
He studied singing at the Liceo Musicale of Santa Cecilia in Rome and made his debut in 1919 at the Teatro Comunale in Carpi as Roucher in Andrea Chenier. In 1922 he performed during a season at the Paleis voor Volksvlijt in Amsterdam and, between 1920 and 1930, had a significant career on the Italian provincial opera stages. In 1924 he appeared at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome as Colline in La Bohème and Bramino in L’Africaine. In the 1931–1932 season, he sang at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, performing roles including Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra and Wallace in La Fanciulla del West. Between 1935 and 1938 he appeared at La Scala in Milan in Turandot (Timur), Wally (Stromminger), Aida (Ramfis), and Tosca (Angelotti). He retired from the stage in 1941.

GAETANO AZZOLINI (FERRARA, 1876 – ROMA, 1928)
He studied singing under Felice Coen. He made the debut as baritone in 1903 at the Teatro Sociale of Colorno in ‘’Ernani’’. Around 1915 he started to appear in buffo roles becoming one of the most appreciated. He died suddenly.
